Of all Dutch universities, Utrecht University occupies the highest position on the Taiwan Ranking, compiled by the Higher Education Evaluation & Accreditation Council (HEEFCE). This year, Utrecht has climbed three places to reach the 46th spot. In doing so, Utrecht University has now become No. 9 in Europe. The annual global ranking is based on the scientific output of the two most recent years in particular.
