Research
Utrecht Life Sciences unites major research institutions with a long history of top-level research. Research within Utrecht Life Sciences is interdisciplinary by nature and combines fundamental, clinical, translational and applied research. It ranges from molecule to man, from organism to population and from bench to bedside.
In total 1,700 research FTE, > 250 professors, > 2,000 BSc & MSc and > 1,300 PhD students are involved in research with the research groups associated with Utrecht Life Sciences.

Research interests of individual partners of Utrecht Life Sciences are numerous and diverse. At the same time, their shared interest focuses on three major themes: Public Health, Cancer and Regenerative Medicine & Stem cells.
