The Dutch Rheumatoid Arthritis Fund is investing one million euros in UCAN, an international collaborative project to tackle juvenile arthritis. This was announced by the Fund on November 18, 2011 during its jubilee meeting in the Hague. The University Medical Center (UMC) Utrecht is also participating in UCAN. Pediatric rheumatologist Professor Berent Prakken of UMC Utrecht will receive the check on behalf of UCAN.
