Netherlands Proteomics Centre
The Netherlands Proteomics Centre (NPC) is a strategic collaboration of research groups from six universities, three academic medical centres and several biotech companies. Professor Albert J.R. Heck of Utrecht University is the scientific director of the NPC. With a scientific program addressing key areas of proteomics in several projects and specialised 'research hotels', the NPC performs high-quality research and knowledge transfer in an international context. The NPC is part of the Netherlands Genomics Initiative.
SPECIFICATIONS MAIN EQUIPMENT:
The NPC provides access to its proteomics technology via its research hotels. The research hotels at Utrecht University can be found in the facilities section or on the website of the Netherlands Proteomics Centre.
Key technologies
The key technologies consist of state of the art mass spectrometry, (multidimensional) chromatography, nanoLC, electrophoresis, protein separation and bioinformatics targeted at proteomics data.
