Five new genes play role schizophrenia

Thanks to genetic research in more than 50,000 people, an international team of scientists has discovered five new genes that play a role in schizophrenia. Researchers in the field of psychiatry from the University Medical Center (UMC) Utrecht have substantially contributed to the results of this research.
