Renewable energy, medical imaging and regenerative medicine - those are the featured topics of three major projects that have recently started at the University Medical Center (UMC) Utrecht, Utrecht University (UU) and Eindhoven University of Technology (TU Eindhoven). Early in 2011, the organizations signed a strategic alliance and subsequently invested 3.25 million euros in the above projects. The so-called preferred partnership ensures collaboration on a complementary basis thereby facilitating research, education and knowledge valorization as well as strengthening the competitive positions of the organizations and both regions.
