The Antoni van Leeuwenhoek hospital (AVL) and the University Medical Center (UMC) Utrecht have set up a new organization that will work nationwide on diagnostics, treatment and research for all types of oncological disorders. This was stated in the declaration of intent signed by both institutes on Monday October 3, 2011. As well as the existing Antoni van Leeuwenhoek hospital in Amsterdam, the new organization will be located in the Science Park Utrecht situated next to UMC Utrecht. Read more
